Is there a better possible time to pursue an under involving Hill than this moment?

I mean, look at what the 41-year-old has done as of late. Since allowing four runs in each of his first four starts, Hill’s allowed only two runs since — across four outings.

He just continues to get it done in his old age, whipping around that menacing curveball that still amazes. And coming in with a 17.2-inning scoreless streak, I really like the veteran to keep it going against a not-so intimidating Orioles batting order.

Hill is hot and contrary to what his counterpart’s 5.81 ERA might suggest, so, too, is Kremer, albeit in a relative fashion.

See, the second-year right-hander is coming off his first trifecta of consecutive outings this season in which he yielded three runs or fewer. It doesn’t sound like much but that’s certainly a positive step.

Kremer’s displayed all the tools and him trending in the right direction is a glaring sign that he’s beginning put it all together.

The Baltimore starter hasn’t even looked bad. He holds a respectable 29-9 K/BB ratio in 31 innings, and Kremer definitely showed some potential last year when he got his feet wet in the bigs for the first time. Let’s give him a shot here to hang.
