Game 1 of this series was an unfortunate one if you’re a Phillies fan. Aaron Nola was dealing through four innings. He had allowed one hit, struck out seven and looked to be headed for a duel with Dodgers starter Max Scherzer. Then, a massive thunderstorm came through the area, he was pulled from the game and the Phillies bullpen did what it usually does.
A day later, we have a pitcher matchup that hardly has the same name recognition but still should be good and I don’t think we’re going to see a ton of runs.
Newly acquired Kyle Gibson has been great in two starts for the Phillies so far this year. In red pinstripes, Gibson is 2-0 with a 2.13 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP. He pitches to contact, so the defense behind him will need to be solid, but I do think a veteran like him can have success against this loaded Dodgers lineup.
As for LA, they’re sending out LHP David Price. Price is hardly still the Cy Young candidate he once was, but he’s having a good year and should be able to keep the Phillies’ bats in check.
10.5 runs is a big total, so we’re riding the under despite two of the hottest offenses in baseball meeting.

DraftKings Same Game Parlay Leg 2: Bryce Harper To Hit 1+ Home Run
There aren’t a lot of stats or underlying data to back this one up right now, but I’m simply riding the hottest hitter in Major League Baseball to hit a home run in a big game for his team.
To get it out of the way, Harper’s BVP vs. David Price is pretty much non-existent. Harper has three career at bats against Price and has a hit, a walk and a strikeout. The hit was a single so, like I said, this isn’t me riding some great historical BVP success. I’m just enamoured with the way Harper is playing baseball right now.
For a while, I agree that he was the most overrated player in baseball. But now we’ve come full circle to a point where, before this past weekend, Harper was wildly underrated.
Harper is still the only player in Major League Baseball slashing .300/.400/.500, He’s one of the favorites to win NL MVP and he’s hit four home runs in his last six games.
Call it a hunch, but I like Harper to stay hot on Wednesday.

DraftKings Same Game Parlay Leg 3: Jean Segura To Get A Hit
Speaking of hot hitters, Jean Segura has been on fire lately. So, I’m adding him to get a hit onto the end of this DraftKings Same Game Parlay.
Segura has registered a hit in six of his eight games played this month and 10 of his last 14 games total. He leads the Phillies with a .309 batting average and it’s even better at home at Citizens Bank Park, where he hits .313. Segura also hits .321 against lefties, which Price is.
Unlike the feel pick with Harper to hit a home run, Segura to register a hit, when he’ll likely be hitting first or second in the lineup, has all the stats to back it up.
