I really wanted exposure to this team today but it was too juiced so we made a nice little Same Game Parlay that feels safe.

Yes, I know that this games actual total is 11.5 but this is under “Same Game Parlay” where you can add alternate lines. I originally thought 11.5 was too high for any game that Walker Buehler is starting but I could totally see Los Angeles smacking them so we added four runs of insurance. The Dodgers are around a -200 favorite so we’re gaining 95 cents on our dollar for this game to just not feature 16+ runs. 16 runs in a Dodgers vs Rockies game is something that has not happened in their last 17 games.
THe Dodgers are the World Series favorites pitching Walker Buehler who had an amazing 2.47 ERA last year and a 16-4 record. How could we not put out money on this guy? Coloardo projects to be one of the low-tier teams this year and upsetting Los Angeles isn’t something that any of us are going to have predicted.
This Dodgers team could legitimately win 100+ games and if that’s the case then they need to take care of work against Kyle Freeland and the Rockies. Freeland played against the Dodgers four times last year and lost three of four games, the only win was against a horrible Brusdar Graterol. None of his four starts exceeded 16+ runs.
This just feels like as safe as a bet gets. I don’t see the Rockies getting to Buehler and this bet has outs even if they do. Dodgers could win this game 8-7 and we would still somehow cash. That doesn’t even feel right that Rockies could cover the spread and the over could hit but our same game parlay would still remain a winner. That’s the beauty of making alternate lines. Getting this for -105 is an absolute steal and I would play it up to -130 to be honest. Let's not overthink and let's take the better team in every way.
