We have had a great start to the MLB season and I found a gem for us to close this week today. One of the best rivalries in all of sports will take place in the Big Apple tonight. The Boston Red Sox take on the New York Yankees. This is a game no matter the time of year or how good these teams are; I sit down and watch when I can. There is so much history between these two teams as the Yankees lead the all-time series 1221-1007. That’s a lot of games for my friends who are not that good at math, more than any other head-to-head matchup in baseball. The first two this season have been won by the team that reigns from New York.

The Yankees look like they have a championship roster once again and they will look to make a deep run this season. Aaron Judge is one of the many stars on this team, and he will certainly make an impact this season. Anthony Rizzo and Giancarlo Stanton have already both homered twice in the first two games.
On the flip side, the Red Sox ended the season of the Yankees a year ago. The Red Sox were the most surprising team in baseball and made a hell of a run before losing to the Houston Astros, who were the American League champions. The Red Sox return many of the stars from a season ago while adding all-star shortstop Trevor Story. Story is one of the best shortstops in all of the game and will be a huge part of this Sox team all season long.
The play I am turning to tonight is going to back the dog in the Boston Red Sox. I do not think they get swept to start this season, and we are getting a really good price on them tonight.
The first two games have been decided by one inning essentially, and they are being undervalued here tonight. I believe this lineup will match up well against Montgomery. I expect a huge game from Xander Bogaerts, who lights up Montgomery hitting .462 lifetime in twenty-six at-bats. The Red Sox have too many guys who see him well not to make some noise against this southpaw. I have confidence in Tanner Houck that he will be able to throw a solid game and feed off his offensive support tonight.
