Thursday's MLB Home Run Best Bets: Will Freddie Freeman Find Some Pop?

Freddie Freeman +400 (Bet $100 to Win $400)
The first homerun prop I am rolling with tonight is going to be Freddie Freeman at +400. Freeman is one of the best pure hitters in the league and doesn't always swing for the fences with an all-or-nothing approach but I really like the value on him to hit his first homer of the season tonight. It looks like the Reds may be going with a bullpen game approach for this game as Luis Cessa is listed as the starter, but Cessa is a very hard-throwing right-handed pitcher that I think plays right into Freeman's strengths.
Freeman loves to go the opposite way and has hit more homers to Center and Left than I can count. Not too many guys have the same type of power to the opposite field as Freeman and I think that comes into play against a high 90s flamethrower like Cessa. If he leaves a fastball out over the plate, Freeman will gladly go with it and drive it the other way into the Left Field seats, and I like the value on him to do just that tonight at +400.
Tyler Naquin +500 (Bet $100 to Win $500)
The second homerun prop I am rolling with for this game is Tyler Naquin for the Reds at +500. Naquin is a very solid and pure hitter who doesn't always go for the long ball, but he has been swinging a hot bat. I think this is very good value on him. Naquin is hitting .389 on the young season to this point and absolutely destroyed his first homerun a few games ago in a tough Left on Left matchup on a 100 MPH fastball so I am not worried about him hitting plus-stuff. Buehler is a very good pitcher and one of the best in the league but did allow significantly more homeruns at home than on the road last season and I think he will give up at least one tonight, so I am hoping it comes from Naquin.
