The first homerun prop I am rolling with tonight for this game is going to be Marcell Ozuna at +450. Yes, I know Kershaw is on the mound for the Dodgers and he is coming off a 7 inning perfect game performance so what better time than to bet on him to give up a homer than now? Ozuna has been crushing the ball lately and is coming off a game where he launched a homer off Yu Darvish in a game where balls simply weren’t carrying at all so he is seeing the ball very well and hitting with the power at the moment. Ozuna also gets a favorable matchup versus Kershaw as a right-handed hitter so if Kershaw hangs a slider I think Ozuna will be all over it.
Will Smith (+475) (Bet $100 to Win $475)
The second homerun prop I am rolling with in this game is going to be Will Smith at +475. Smith just seems to always hit homers in big games and he has had a lot of success against the Braves in his young career. Tonight Ynoa gets the start for the Braves but it should be more of a bullpen-type game as Ynoa shouldn’t go too deep in this game. Ynoa is prone to leaving fastballs in the center of the plate though and Smith is one of the best power-hitting catchers in the league. Smith is a well-rounded hitter who doesn’t always swing for the fences but I like the value on him to go yard tonight at just under +500.
