Houston Astros vs Los Angeles Angels Best Bets: Will Shohei Ohtani Road Struggles Continue?

Don’t get me wrong I love Shohei Ohtani; he is excellent but up to this point in his career, he has performed much more poorly on the road. Ohtani is sporting a 5.83 ERA and 4.02 FIP on the road up to this point. He got knocked around in Texas last week and on the season is sporting a 7.56 ERA through two starts. His strikeout percentage is high but he is facing one of the lowest strikeout teams in the league; he’ll have to throw the ball.

Houston Astros vs Los Angeles Angels Prediction

In his last outing, he held Houston to just one earned but was pulled in fourth after allowing four hits and a walk. Luckily for him and the Angels, they know Jake Odorizzi very well and knocked him well and saw him just last week and despite only netting two earned runs they ran him out of the game in the fourth as well.

This is one of the most hitter-friendly ballparks in the league, these are two of the more talented lineups in the league and these are two pitchers who have not proven themselves at all this year in my opinion. I do not know if they both have a bad outing but I expect these lineups to get after one of them at the least. Houston seems undervalued as a home dog so I am sprinkling there but I like the total the most.
