Los Angeles Angels vs. Baltimore Orioles Best Bet: Will Reid Detmers Go to the Moon Tonight Against the O's?
Here's the thing about gambling. You can just make up your own rules and go. I know I said in an earlier article that we could just wait for the lineups in the Los Angeles Angels vs Baltimore Orioles game but you know what? I'm not. I've seen the numbers and prices and I'm ready to roll. I don't need to wait on a lineup or find out who the umpire is. It's Friday and I want to gamble. There's nothing wrong with that. Lucky for us, it doesn't matter who is in the lineup or who is behind home plate calling balls and strikes. I think the Baltimore Orioles are going to get mowed down tonight. I've been waiting to bet this kid but the time hasn't really been right. It's more than right tonight people. I can't wait.

Reid Detmers 6+ Strikeouts (+158) (Bet $100 to Win $158)
*Odds Available at FanDuel at Time of Publishing*
This one is at FanDuel and no place else. DraftKings has 4.5 at -150 which is a no-go for two reasons. I hate laying -150 and FanDuel has 4.5 for -136. BetMGM and Barstool still haven't posted pitching props for this game but they should be along soon. They like to wait a bit sometimes. I respect it.
Let me tell you people a little something about Reid Detmers. He can get some whenever he wants it. You don't have to graduate from Lincoln High School to know that. We're talking about a guy who once struck out 16 in a AA game last June. It was the fourth time he has rung up 10+ in a game. He doesn't play around.
The haters are going to say that he can't do that in the majors but we don't need 16 tonight. We need six. He whiffed five guys the last time he pitched and the only reason he didn't get six was that he got shelled by the Texas Rangers. It was expected though. The Rangers have a .856 OPS against lefties this season. What did you think was going to happen? The other time he pitched this season was against the Houston Astros who just don't really strikeout. He got three of those guys in a valiant effort.
Tonight the opponent is right for Reid Detmers to take his rightful place in the good graces of gamblers. We're talking the Baltimore Orioles here people. They're 21st in OPS against left-handed pitchers on the season and more importantly, no team in MLB has struck out more against lefties. They've got three regular players that are 31.6+% strikeout guys versus southpaws. There's a good chance we could see two or more guys inserted in the lineup tonight that also fit that description. This kid is probably going to get at least six strikeouts tonight.
