MLB Moneyline Parlay Picks (+299) (Bet $100 to win $299)

  • Yankees -210
  • Astros -160
  • Angels -145

The New York Yankees have started the season 12-6. With all the hate this team gets, you'd think they were 6-12. The offense is starting to turn the corner and now they'll go up against Bruce Zimmermann, who has overachieved to start the season. The left-hander struggled a lot last season against both sides of the plate. Meanwhile, the Yankees offense has been red hot and has a bunch of guys who have been consistent against lefties to begin the year.

Secondly, the Astros will pitch Justin Verlander against the Rangers and Martin Perez. Who would you rather back? Verlander has 29% strikeouts with 5.8% walks while Perez has 20% strikeouts with 8.3% walks. He also has a BABIP of .341 while Verlander has a BABIP of .175. I'm taking the Astros in this spot all day.

Lastly, the Angels and their offense are legitimate. This team can quickly score in bunches with so much talent between Taylor Ward, Shohei Ohtani, and Mike Trout. I mean, the list goes on and on and now they'll take on Cal Quantrill, who has allowed multiple runs in all three starts this season. He's also allowed more walks than strikeouts. The Angels will send out Reid Detmers, who has been hot and cold since he got into the majors. But overall, the Guardians don't have much offense to beat up Detmers.

MLB Total Runs Parlay Picks +630 (Bet $100 to win $630)

  • Padres/Reds Over 8.5 (-105)
  • Angels/Guardians Over 8.5 (-115)
  • Marlins/Nationals Under 8 (+100)

The Padres have been electric offensively against the Reds. But so have the Reds. With Nick Martinez on the mound for San Diego, the Reds should be able to score some runs. Martinez has a 6.38 xFIP with 19.4% strikeouts and 14.9% walks. The Reds can absolutely tack on some runs. Meanwhile, the Padres will get Tyler Mahle but once the bullpen is in, the Padres will take advantage.

Like I stated above, I like this Angels' offense. I think Los Angeles can score a whole lot of runs against Quantrill and the Guardians right now. While Detmers is going to face a weak lineup like the Guardians, I still think the Guardians will end up scoring a couple of runs between Jose Ramirez and Owen Miller. The over makes sense in this one with the Angels carrying it.

We've got to lefties on the mound between Trevor Rogers and Patrick Corbin. Neither of these two is elite but the Nationals have struggled immensely against lefties with a .051 ISO and a .267 wOBA while the Marlins aren't much better with a .126 ISO and wOBA of .244. These two lefties will go to work and shut down both lineups.
