New York Mets vs Philadelphia Phillies Prediction: Can the Phillies Bounce Back After the No-Hitter?
The Philadelphia Phillies will battle the New York Mets in the second game of a three-game series from the big apple. The Mets took game one last night in an emphatic fashion as they No hit the Phillies. The combined new hitter took the headlines from yesterday's game, and the Mets will look to parlay that performance into today.

New York Mets vs. Philadelphia Phillies Prediction
The Phillies have one of the best lineups in all of baseball on paper, but they have struggled to get going at times this season. They came into New York flying high after they swept the Rockies, but they will now be in bounce-back mode today against Tajuan Walker. Walker, who was an all-star a season ago, was injured in the first game. He faced the Phillies but looked flawless before his injury. Walker struggled in the second half of the season last year but was as good as anyone in the NL in the first half of the year. The Phillies will counter Walker with the veteran and all-star a season ago, Kyle Gibson. Gibson has been solid to kick off the campaign but has run into issues later in ball games. He will be tasked with holding down this high-profiled Mets lineup tonight. The Mets enter this one as the best team in baseball and are a -135 favorite on the money line.
I am backing the dog in the Phillies tonight due to the great value we are getting. I do not think there’s a huge advantage on the pitching side, and I like the fact that Philly was No-Hit yesterday because I believe in a bounce-back from then today. This is one of the best lineups in baseball, and I believe as the season goes on, they will only get stronger. Walker is making his first appearance since his injury, so I do not see him going deep into this game tonight. Gibson has been really solid, and he should be able to limit this Mets offense to just a couple of runs. The value here on Philly is too strong to pass up at a dog price, so I will be riding them tonight.
