We are heading to the diamond after another great day of betting yesterday for a matchup between the Cleveland Guardians and the Oakland Athletics. The Athletics come into this game playing much better baseball than most thought to start the season. They blew up their team in the off-season, moving on from stars Matt Olson and Matt Chapman. Mark Canha and Starling Marte walked from the team as well in free agency, leaving some big holes to fill. They knew this team would not be a playoff-caliber team on paper, but they have faired ok so far.

The Guardians also came into the season not slated to be a playoff team led by slugger Jose Ramirez. Ramirez led the charge last night for a comeback when the Guardians trailed by three runs in the seventh. His two-run double pulled them within a run, followed by a two-run blast from outfielder Josh Naylor.

The Guardians enter play fifth in MLB in batting average, hitting .250 as a team. It is crazy we are in a world where hitting .250 as a team is looked at as top five, but here we are! Oakland ranks twenty-sixth in the bigs hitting just .211 on the campaign. They will have one of their toughest tests tonight in the form of former Cy Young award winner Shane Bieber. Bieber is coming off a loss in Los Angeles to the Angels and will look to be sharper in the performance tonight. 

I am backing the favorite here In the Guardians tonight. I love the line we are getting here facing this Oakland team.

I believe Oakland will start to trend down the next month or so despite playing .500 ball at the moment. Bieber is one of the best arms in baseball and has worked up to more innings in the young season. We faded Bieber last time against the Angels, and it worked, but he is too good to fade back to back times.

The Guardians lineup is seeing the baseball very well at the moment. This is a lineup with a ton of confidence, and there is no reason to not ride when you have a top-five offense and a Cy Young arm on the mound. Let’s stay hot tonight and cash in another bet!
