San Francisco Giants vs Washington Nationals Prediction
Logan Webb against Joan Adon part two. I’m such a Logan Webb fan and he’s made us some serious cash thus far. With that being said, he actually had minor struggles against this Washington team last outing but the offense carried him and they still lead after the first five innings with a 5-3 outcome. I think he is good enough to adjust and give up fewer runs this time and will not need the offensive showing they had less than a week ago. Joan Adon is still just 23 years old and has allowed 4+ runs in three of his four starts. Giants are 13-7 for a reason and will likely make him pay yet again.
Adon could only go four innings last time out and his prop for outs at 15.5. If he doesn’t only go five innings then it’s probably due to allowing a good amount of baserunners and more than likely some runs yet again. San Francisco lost 14-4 last night to this Nationals team which leads me to personally believe two things. Washington didn’t save many runs for today and the Giants are upset at getting clowned like that and will bounce back. The Giants have lost two games in a row and I can't imagine it leading it to a third with a No. 2 pitcher out there.
This is another one of those “take the better team with the pitching advantage” picks. Adon will be good one day, not today. Webb is an amazing talent who is due a bounceback and already hit this for us six days ago even while struggling. We could win this one 1-0 or 5-4 and I don’t mind either way. Nationals bats lifetime against Webb bat 7-34 for just a smidge over .200. I’m thinking his three ER allowed were an outlier of him dominating this team like he did last season. This is the first bet that stood out to me and all of the evidence supports it the further you look.
