Rangers vs. Braves Line Movement

Texas Rangers vs. Atlanta Braves Prediction

The interleague games sure are different this year without the pitchers hitting. I hate the change and think pitchers should still hit as now the leagues have no difference and if they were going to do this, guys like Edgar Martinez could have played longer and in a different league. Just look now at Nelson Cruz and Albert Pujols getting an extra year out of the new rules. Either way these teams have split two games and today is the game-breaker. The Braves send Kyle Muller for his first start this year as he was pretty decent last year and Texas sends Taylor Hearn out who I think is better than he has pitched and maybe today is the day he gets it all together and delivers at home.

Everyone was so excited that Ronald Acuna is back but it will take him time to come back as he is hitting only .222. The Braves lineup hasn't gotten going yet this year as they are at the bottom of the league and they are hitting only .223 as a team. They have only one or two guys playing right now that are hitting over .300 while Adam Duvall is trying to hit his weight and Ozzie Albies and Dansby Swanson both haven't learned to hit yet this year. This team was just held to one run by Dane Dunning (who)  and in their last ten games, they have been held to four runs or less in seven of them. The Braves have always been about great pitching and should have an advantage with a pitcher no one has seen yet this year.

The Texas Rangers spent millions to improve their infield and their offense. Corey Seager is red hot and has delivered some power, but Marcus Semien are you kidding me. It might be time for the coaches to change the lineup because a guy hitting .157 should not be hitting second but when your four and five hitters are hitting .195 and .164 not many options. This team has been awful offensively, in their last five games, they have scored three or fewer runs which is why they are on a seven and one under run. Even though Hearn has been awful this year based on his ERA, he has really just gotten unlucky with a few bad pitches. With the Braves still trying to figure out their offense and lineup and the Rangers offense still trying to figure things out, we feel both teams will have trouble scoring again today.

Both teams have combined for thirteen runs in the series so far and in a weird stat, the Braves have gone under in ten of the last eleven final games in a three-game series. As we mentioned, the Rangers are very hot under (7-1), and Hearn has gone 3-0-2 under at home. Everything is pointing at one thing. The under 9 is available everywhere in this game as pitching rules in this series one more day.
