MLB Parlay Picks for Wednesday: Cash In With This Expert's +585 Parlay
Due to popular demand, we're adding an article at Oddschecker that consists of two parlays. I'm going to add two different parlays with one being a moneyline parlay and the other being a totals parlay in the MLB daily. You can always mix and match these parlays where you see the value!
MLB Moneyline Parlay Picks (+324) (Bet $100 to win $324)
- Cardinals (-140)
- Twins (-135)
- Rockies (-155)
The Cardinals aren't the most electric offense...unless they face lefties. The Cardinals are mostly a right-handed lineup and will more than likely send out nine righties to hit against Kris Bubic who has an xFIP above 6.00 to start the season. The Cardinals are hitting for power, getting on base, limiting ground balls, and hitting a ton of line drives against lefties. With Adam Wainwright on the mound facing a terrible Royals lineup, the Cardinals should have success in today's game.
Dylan Bundy might've struggled in his most recent start, but he's still 3-1 with a 2.95 ERA to start the season. Bundy and the Twins will take on the Orioles with rookie pitcher Kyle Bradish on the mound. Bradish had just two strikeouts in his first start and was expected to have some really good put-away stuff. He's going to have some growing pains early. Take Bundy and the Twins.
The Rockies have absolutely smacked lefties to start the season and have a wOBA of nearly .400. That will help against Patrick Corbin of the Nationals who is close to a 9 ERA after April concluded. Meanwhile, Austin Gomber will take the hill for the Rockies and he's taking on a Nationals team that has been dreadful against lefties this season. The top of the Washington lineup is hitting more ground balls than anything else against lefties.
MLB Total Runs Parlay Picks +585 (Bet $100 to win $585)
- Yankees Blue Jays Over 8.5 (+100)
- Reds vs Brewers Over 7.5 (-120)
- Nationals vs Rockies Over 10.5 (-115)
The Yankees have had so much success against left-handed pitching and with Yusei Kikuchi on the mound, I expect that to continue. Kikuchi has been giving up a whole lot of power to both sides of the plate and is allowing righties to get on at a very high rate. Meanwhile, the Blue Jays haven't had much success against lefties this season. Tonight, they'll take on Nestor Cortes, who has been sensational. But I still think the Blue Jays, who will have a mostly right-handed lineup could muster up some runs too.
Anytime Vladimir Gutierrez is on the mound, the over is the play. Gutierrez has an 8.52 xFIP with 13.3% strikeouts and 18.1% walks. He's been absolutely dreadful. Now, the Brewers' lineup hasn't been all that better but if they're patient, they'll get guys on base who will create havoc and then score some runs. The Brewers will also pitch Freddie Peralta who also has high walks and low ground balls. We'll see runs in this one.
The Rockies should have a field day against Patrick Corbin, as I mentioned above. The offense should do its part and then some. But also, Austin Gomber might allow a couple of runs as well and then leave it to the bullpen to give up plenty more later in the game. I still like the Rockies to pull this game out but think Washington can put up a fight and score some runs too.
