Milwaukee Brewers vs. Cincinnati Reds Prediction: Expect Adrian Houser to Light Up the Reds
We've got no basketball tonight people. None. Like zero. Real winners like us don't complain about stuff like this though. They just find a way to carry on. We've been through stuff like this before. Remember the pandemic? There were zero sports on period. We got through that. Luckily we've got MLB to fall back on today.
If we're being honest, I'm probably going to throw a shots on goal NHL player prop out there tonight too. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I'd go as far as saying since there is no basketball tonight, we should gamble all day. The only way I know how to do that is to throw a bet out on one of the first MLB games being played today. After that, we just ride the wave for the rest of the day. I say we start with the Cincinnati Reds and Milwaukee Brewers at 1:40pm ET on MLB Network. Feels right.

Adrian Houser Over 3.5 Strikeouts (-132) (Bet $132 to win $100)
I know what you're thinking, what's with the laying -132? This is definitely not the economy for that kind of nonsense but it is what it is. If we want to go 5+, we'll get +182 at FanDuel so that's definitely an option as well. If I do that, I'll post it on Twitter but for now, let's just go with 3.5. We need to crawl before we walk here people.
Adrian Houser. This guy is a scary guy to back. We all know that already. The guy just isn't a strikeout guy but we don't need him to be. His number is 3.5 people. That's literally the books' way of insulting pitchers. They don't just slap a 3.5 on a guy that can strike people out. It's simply not done. All I'm saying is, don't look at the name here, look at the number. You'll feel better about this.

If you look at Houser's game log, you'll notice that he's reached this number in two of his four starts this season. The other two times he at least got to three so there is that. He somehow didn't get to four against the Baltimore Orioles and the Philadelphia Phillies. The Orioles was his first start of the season so that doesn't even count. When it comes to the Phillies, they don't really strike out against righties. Opponent kind of matters here and today we have a good one.
Houser will face a Cincinnati Reds team that look like blindfolded children trying to hit a piñata at times. We're talking young kids too. They've struck out almost 29% of the time against right-handed pitchers so far this season and could send at least seven guys to battle today that whiff north of 24% of the time. We just saw Houser mow down six Chicago Cubs in his last start who are actually better than the Reds even though they whiff a lot too. This is a great way to start the day.
