Monday Early MLB Looks: What Starting Pitchers Should Be on Today's Strikeout Watch?
We need MLB ladders today. Ones that we can climb to the moon. We're talking opportunities for +200 or higher type stuff here people. Obviously, we'll take the +120 or better stuff but we've got bigger dreams. The thing is, we need to get good at this stuff because pretty soon, this is all we'll have. The NBA and NHL will slow down big time over the next few weeks. The good news is, it's not that hard. Just look for matchups featuring pitchers that are decent in the strikeout department and opposing teams that have some whiffers from top to bottom. Every day there's some team that trots out a lineup full of guys that could whiff in any at-bat. We just have to catch the books slipping.
We need to see AT LEAST five of these batters in these lineups. If that happens, get ready to climb a ladder. Be somebody today.
