Well, I am not crazy about this MLB slate tonight but on days like this where every team in the league plays there is money to be made all across the board; I don’t love it a lot but there are a few games that I do like and we’re going to get after it. Here are my predictions, picks, and the odds for the Minnesota Twins vs Houston Astros game and St. Louis Cardinals vs Baltimore Orioles game.

Minnesota Twins vs Houston Astros Prediction
Going right back to the well here with the Astros on the money line as they cashed easily for us last night and are now riding a nine-game win streak into this one. Yesterday I said you can’t go for three straight series sweeps without winning the first one and Justin Verlander did exactly what I dreamed of him doing, if not better.
The Twins put nothing on the board and although they do not have to face Verlander again this evening they are still hurting. I am not sure if this turns into much of a slugfest as Chris Archer is historically strong against the Astros but their bats are just nonexistent and they are missing several key guys at the moment. Correa, Arraez, and Larnach are all out again this evening and even if Byron Buxton plays he is not entirely healthy.
I am fading a struggling, hurting Minnesota team again tonight and riding with one of the best-looking clubs in the league this season to this point.

St. Louis Cardinals vs Baltimore Orioles Prediction
I will keep this short and sweet; I know my boys from the Lou pretty well and this is a get-back game here. They dropped game one last night despite some late life but they were not entirely setting themselves up for success with who they chose to put on the bump.
Can’t win 'em all.
Tonight Miles Mikolas is the arm-wearing the birds on the bat and he has had a phenomenal start to the season sporting a 1.53 ERA through seven starts and is just dealing. He will pitch strong and the bats should rally behind him. St. Louis sent down their slumping former all-star shortstop Paul DeJong last night and called up one of their top prospects. There will be a shift in the lineup a bit today and I think that the birds are ready to pounce at home where they love to do so.
