ERod has been disappointing thus far for my Tigers but I don’t think it’s entirely his fault. The defense behind him has been abysmal and he’s faced some teams that crush left-handed pitching. This is the ultimate buy-low spot. Baltimore bats .213 against lefties and ERod is due a quality start. ERod is only 2/6 on this prop but he has 5+ strikeouts in five straight and Baltimore should be bad enough to allow one extra strikeout.
The Orioles just allowed the ghost of Steven Matz to K seven batters last night. I think this bet could be laddered and we see Eduardo with eight or so, that’s much I like this one. Tigers are also favored in this game at -150 on the moneyline which is shocking but a good sign we get a good day out of Rodriguez. If ERod doesn’t break out here then I don’t know when he will, this feels like the perfect spot. Baltimore is 9-7 at home but a horrible 5-11 on the road, I think they struggle tonight.
ERod seemed to find his groove last game against a much more difficult Astros team. He struck out eight batters and we took 6.2 innings pitched. We don’t need all of that, this is Baltimore we’re talking about. Just go a fool six innings flat and get one strikeout per inning, we don’t need him to enter the Guinness Book Of World Records. This is my biggest gut play of the year, I usually don’t play bets with a 2/6 hit rate but every sign points to this hitting, with my stinky Tigers we ride!
