St. Louis Cardinals vs. San Francisco Giants Prediction: Will Logan Webb Struggle to Find the Strike Zone?
Do you know what we need tonight? A base on balls prop. You can't get these things everywhere, but they are available at DraftKings. If you can't play there, please accept my apologies. It happens. The issue is I can play there so I do and when I see something as good as the play you are about to read about, I have to sound the alarms. It's my job as a decent human being. Plus, there's nothing like watching an MLB game and rooting for walks. It's a sport in and of itself. Especially when you find a line that really doesn't make any sense. Like none at all. The first thing I thought when I saw it was that DraftKings was broken (It wasn't, this is real). We should bet this.

St. Louis Cardinals vs. San Francisco Giants Prediction
Logan Webb Over 1.5 Walks (+185) (Bet $100 to Win $185)
*Odds Available at DraftKings at Time of Publishing*
Obviously, I'm at DraftKings here since no one else that I know of has these. BetMGM was a spot I thought would pick these up at some point but they haven't. They have earned runs and outs but no walks. FanDuel and Barstool are both great for pitcher strikeout props but nothing else in that realm. It's a shame because pitcher walk bets should be a thing. You'll see why after tonight.
Logan Webb people. That's what we're talking about tonight. Does this feel like we're betting against him? A little. But we really aren't. I like the guy. If his strikeout number was lower, we'd be all over it. But it's not so here we are. Still, I pride myself on being able to find something to gamble on and I found something here. We can all be proud.
The thing about this number is the fact that Webb is a borderline walk guy. The man has walked eight people in just 35 innings so far this season. Last season, it was 36 in 148 innings and the year before that it was 24 guys in 54 innings of work. He just walked two guys in his last outing which was coincidentally enough against this same Cardinals team.
Opponent kind of matters here and we have a decent one. Over their last 13 games, St. Louis has walked 40 times. That's not bad although it isn't great either. The thing to remember is we only need two here to cash a +185 bet. Another thing to remember is that a hit by pitch does not count as a walk. Webb took out seven guys in just 54 innings pitched a couple of years ago so he will hit people. Still, I think this is a nice reward for the risk.
