Oakland Athletics vs Minnesota Twins Prediction: Fading Zach Logue
When looking at the Oakland Athletics vs. Minnesota Twins odds, we noticed something that stuck out. Zach Logue is getting a little too much love and he seems like the perfect player prop to ride for this game.

Zach Logue u18.5 pitching outs (-155) (Bet $155 to win $100)
Why is this number the way it is? I simply can’t compute it. Sure, Logue went 7 innings in his last outing but that was against my lousy Tigers. Logue looks really good but asking for more than 6 innings against a solid Minnesota team is absolutely nuts. There is a very real chance he pitches a great game but gets pulled after 6 innings flat. He has already played Minnesota and only went 5 innings in a start he looked good in. He averaged 18 pitches an inning in that start and threw 90 total. We can see that number go down to 15 pitches an inning and he would only go 6 innings at the same pitch count.
Minnesota has played 35 games this year and only four pitchers have exceeded 19 outs. Just Verlander, Robbie Ray, Clayton Kershaw, and last Tristan McKenzie. The best part is that McKenzie did it last night. What are the chances of a prop missing twice in a row that has a 31/35 hit rate? That’s an 88.5% hit rate, there’s no way Minnesota lets that happen again, right? Logue looks good but not go more than 6 innings on the regular level good. This number just doesn’t make sense to me and this juice is most certainly worth drinking.

Minnesota hits lefties at .243 clip and have already shown that they are capable of making him work. The only thing stopping this play from being more than a unit is the juice, if we somehow got this for -135 or lower I would make it a 1.5u play most definitely. Those other pitchers (not McKenzie) are in another tier of pitching and I don’t expect Logue to join the elusive list, especially after they allowed someone to do it to them just last night. This is one of those plays you just feel really good placing because we can win in so many different ways.
