The Detroit Tigers are 12-23 this season, good for the third-worst record in baseball. On the mound for Tampa will be Corey Kluber. Don't let his 4.55 ERA worry you, as most of that damage came from his last outing where he gave up eight runs in three innings to the Angels. That's more than half of the 15 runs he's allowed across the plate this season. The Halos are second best in the Majors by wRC+ at hitting Right Hand Pitching (RHP) like Kluber, but the Tigers are second worst. Kluber should bounce back very well here. The Rays will be facing Alex Faedo, and while I could make jokes about fading the kid, it's his first career road start and he allowed two runs to the Pirates and A's to open the season. It's not far-fetched to think that the Rays should be leading this game by the time the fifth inning ends. Fadeo should struggle with the lineup the third time through. Statistically, this should hold up as well, in their last 10 true road games the Tigers are 1-9 and have scored 20 total runs. However, of those 20 runs, just seven came in the first five innings. With the price only -125 I think we're getting a steal. I would price this line at -150. The Rays should get this one done for us to start the week right. Good luck!
