MLB Moneyline Parlay Picks (+341) (Bet $100 to win $341)

  • Yankees (-210)
  • White Sox (-145)
  • Red Sox (-130)

The New York Yankees continue to beat up on bad teams. There's nothing wrong with this. Eventually, every team in baseball gets to have that advantage at some point. The Yankees will send Jordan Montgomery on the mound to take on Bruce Zimmermann. Both of these pitchers are lefties but only the Yankees are having consistent success against lefties with an ISO above .200 in the last 30 days. Grab the Yankees to finish the job.

Anytime Carlos Hernandez is on the mound, it's an auto fade for me. Hernandez has an ERA nearing 10 and is still getting starts for the Royals. He's walked more than struck out and we're literally over six weeks into the season. Although the White Sox have struggled to hit consistently, every team has been able to put up multiple runs on Hernandez quickly. With Vince Velasquez on the mound, it's not the best matchup, but Velasquez has had some solid outings scattered around this season. Tonight will be one of those.

The Red Sox are starting to catch fire after a series win over Houston. Tonight, they'll take on a righty in George Kirby who is bound to regress. The rookie pitcher has a .90 ERA and that's just not going to last against this hot Boston lineup. Any righty in that lineup has potential. With Rich Hill on the mound for the Red Sox, you can expect the Red Sox to be in this game throughout as Hill is always so consistent with his outings.

MLB Total Runs Parlay Picks +596 (Bet $100 to win $596)

  • Diamondbacks vs. Cubs Under 8.5 (-115)
  • Padres vs. Phillies Under 8 (-105)
  • White Sox vs. Royals Over 9.5 (-110)

The Diamondbacks will send out Zac Gallen for tonight's game. He could push his ERA below 1.00 with another quality outing tonight. Going up against the Cubs bats, I fully expect him to do just that. Meanwhile, Marcus Stroman will take the hill for the Cubs for the first time since his injury. If he's fully healthy, you can expect a solid outing from Stroman as well. The under is the play.

Yu Darvish has had a high xFIP and low strikeout rate in the last 30 days but he's still minimizing line drive, earning plenty of ground balls, and rarely allowing much power. That's enough in my book to trust him. On the other hand, Kyle Gibson is earning nearly 55% of ground balls in the last 30 days and while he's been a bit bad against righties when he's on his game, he's going to get a lot of grounders from righties more often than not.

The White Sox might score 10 on their own today. Carlos Hernandez is complete garbage and has an ERA nearing 10, to begin with. On the other hand, you can expect Vince Velasquez to give up a couple of runs here and there too. He's got an ERA above 5 and hasn't been all that effective either. The White Sox will win this game but it'll finish with both teams scoring a solid amount of runs.
