The D-Backs are fresh off a win last night where they used a big fourth inning to get past the Cubs. The offense for the Cubs really struggled last night and, for a good reason facing the MLB's best pitcher so far this season in Zach Gallen. They will have an easier matchup today when they face right-handed pitcher Humberto Castellanos. Castellanos enters play sporting an era of 4.15 on the young season. He will face a Cubs lineup tonight who is looking to break out and put up a big day after being held to just one run yesterday that came off the bat of veteran catcher Yan Gomes when he doubled in the fourth inning.

The Cubs will send veteran righty Kyle Hendricks to the bump. Hendricks, who is nicknamed the Profesor, will be tasked with shutting down this Arizona offense. Hendricks has a lot of success in a Cubs uniform but has struggled to start this season, sporting an era of 4.03 and going 2-3 in his starts. The wind will play a huge factor in this game as it is blowing out. If you have not seen a windy game from Wrigley, buckle in. I can almost guarantee you will see a routine pop-up missed today due to the wind. The wind has an effect on the total pushing it all the way up to eleven this afternoon. 

I am backing the Cubbies on the money line today. I think this is a really good bounce-back spot for Chicago after a tough game last night. They hold a sizeable advantage on the mound with Hendricks, who knows how to pitch in these conditions. Castellanos does not have the same experience that Hendricks does, and that will play a factor in today's game. I actually have this line closer to -200, so it is a steal in my eyes.

The ball is going to travel more today, and when we have a pitching advantage as we do, we need to take advantage of it. Castellanos, I expect to struggle, especially in the early innings. This is a Cubs offense that can hit the long ball as they have a lot of power throughout the lineup. I think they get a hold of a couple today, and Hendricks shuts down these Arizona bats.
