MLB player prop pick and prediction for the Seattle Mariners vs Oakland Athletics game Tuesday night. John Hyslop is back again with another top MLB player prop bet with his eyes set on Mariners starting pitcher George Kirby.
ANALYSIS

Seattle Mariners vs Oakland Athletics Prediction: Will George Kirby Pile Up the Strikeouts?

We did it, people. We caught the books with their pants down. I knew it would happen at some point. I ask my kids all the time, "what's the key to life?" The answer is patience. If you just wait, the stars will align and shit will just get clear. The unbeatable will become beatable. That's just how patience works.

Why am I saying all this? Because that's what happened today. There is one man in the MLB that the books have galaxy-brained themselves on. He has beaten their algorithm and they will be forced to adjust after this game tonight. Unfortunately, it will be too late for them at that point. We will have already run off with the bags. It sucks to be them but at the same time, today is a great day to be us.

Let's dive into my prediction, player prop pick, and the odds for the Mariners vs Athletics game tonight.

Seattle Mariners vs Oakland Athletics Pick

George Kirby Over 4.5 Strikeouts (+116) (Bet $100 to win $116)

*Odds available at FanDuel at time of publishing.*

I'm at FanDuel for this one but you could go to DraftKings as well. They have +105 so that's comparable. The bad part is, FanDuel had +126 earlier this morning but I didn't get it in time and they adjusted. Most people in this business would have just posted this article with the +126 line but not me. I have way too much class for shady practices like that. It's actually huge of me to post the available line instead of the earlier one.

Seattle Mariners vs Oakland Athletics Prediction

George Kirby. Who the hell is this guy? If you're asking that question, you're a casual in this game we play. It's alright though. Everyone is invited to this party. We don't make fun of casuals here. We're cool like that. But just know, you should know who this guy is. He's a man amongst boys and pretty soon, we'll laugh about the time the books gave up plus money on 4.5 from this guy.

The reason this guy is getting the 4.5 treatment from the books is because of his last two games. The thing is, those games weren't his fault. Not by a mile. The kid had to pitch against the New York Mets and Boston Red Sox. For starters, you would never take a guy's over against the Mets. That's dumb. And the Red Sox have actually NOT been striking out lately so there's that too. The guy was set up to fail. Not cool.

Luckily for Kirby, tonight he gets the Oakland Athletics. On the season, only four teams have struck out more than they have. That's it. We're talking the entire MLB here. They've been better in the last couple of weeks but they're still far from a team we'd avoid. Patrick Sandoval just whiffed seven of them the other day. I think we need to back Kirby tonight. Let the kid know that we know if you know what I mean.
