Arizona Diamondbacks vs Los Angeles Dodgers Prediction: Will Humberto Castellanos Surprise?
I'm a dreamer. Everyone knows that. I don't like the whole, take a -130 move because it's safe. Nothing is safe in this game we play. Seriously. There is no such thing as a "safe" bet. I actually like it like that. That kind of environment opens the door for the good stuff. The "see what happens" type of bets that we all know and love. The prices on those types of bets are where it's at. We're talking plus money type stuff here people. That will get you jacked up like nothing else. And on top of that, you don't have to hit anywhere near 52+% to break even. You can be a 45% guy and rake in the dough never having to deposit ever at your book. That's living people. But to live like that, you have to make bets that seem very dumb on the surface. That's just the rules. This bet is exactly what I'm talking about.
Humberto Castellanos 4+ Strikeouts (+116) (Bet $100 to win $116)
Again we're at FanDuel but it's not because DraftKings doesn't have a number. It's because the price at FanDuel is a little bit better. In this economy, you have to be smart and that means line shopping. DraftKings has over 3.5 +110 so it's not like this one is far off but still. Anyone can see +116 is better than +110. Even people who can't see.
Let me tell you about this guy Humberto Castellanos. He's not a strikeout guy. He just isn't. He prefers to throw less pitches to each batter and I respect that about him. I do the same thing in bowling. Just throw a strike on the first ball and then you don't have to go again that frame. You conserve energy like that. Those balls are heavy. You can't be throwing two every frame. It's just not smart.

The thing about Humberto is he is kind of striking guys out lately. The man has fanned at least four guys in each of his last four starts. He even got five guys in his last two outings. That's crazy for a 8% swinging strike guy. Granted those starts were against the Chicago Cubs and Miami Marlins but still. He got five New York Mets earlier this season so we can't ignore that. Haters will but we won't because we're better than them.
Tonight Humberto will see the Los Angeles Dodgers which sounds bad but maybe it's not. Those Dodgers haven't struck out much this season but over the last week they've struck out more than every other team in MLB except one. Honestly, it was two games against the Phillies that hurt them but still. We're looking at six guys that could be in the lineup that have struck out 22+% of the time over the last two weeks. I'd say 5+ strikeouts at +280 isn't even that crazy. Live a little.
