Philadelphia Phillies vs. San Francisco Giants Prediction: Juice Drinking With Jakob Junis
Anytime you see that a handicapper on Twitter has a Play of the Century, you know you have to bet it. I mean, a Play of the Century is a Play of the Century. There are not too many days when you get to lock in a Play of the Century. Everyone knows that. The thing about Plays of the Century is that they only come around once a century. Who knows if we'll even be alive the next time one of these rolls around? (I'll be 144 in 100 years so it's unlikely I will be.) That's why we need to strike now on this one. When I first saw it, I knew it was special but when I really dove in, and crunched the numbers, it became apparent that this thing has a zero percent chance of losing. I can't even believe it's a thing. This is literally the Juice Drinkers Play of the Century. Lucky us.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. San Francisco Giants Prediction
Jakob Junis Over 3.5 Strikeouts (-168) (Bet $168 to Win $100)
*Odds Available at FanDuel at Time of Publishing*
We're at FanDuel for this one but you could also play it at DraftKings. The difference is DraftKings has 4.5 at +125. Obviously, that is the better move but this is a juice drinker's play. We can't have a +125 bet if this is a juice drinkers play. Everyone knows that. Plus, it's so much easier to get over 3.5 than it is to get over 4.5. That's just common sense. Still, if you have to play at DraftKings, I think we're good at 4.5.
Jakob Junis. He's obviously a great beard guy. Although it could be a little bushier, you have to respect the manicured look. I'm just saying that if I was a 6'3", 220-pound pitcher, I'd go bushier on the beard. It just feels like the right thing to do. I will give Jakob credit though since his beard now is much thicker than it was in Kansas City. That I remember at least.
This guy is more than just a beard though. He is slowly becoming a guy that I think could survive in the Slop Circle of Trust. What I like best is he doesn't show out against the teams that are easy to strikeout. That ruins the numbers. He's just going to get his four or five strikeouts and then go about his day. In fact, he's fanned at least four guys in four of his six starts this season. The fun part is, that only one of those games was against an "easy" team (Athletics). Jakob may have some room to grow.
Junis will get the Philadelphia Phillies tonight which is a godsend. You don't see many 3.5s against this Phillies team. It's easy to see why when you look at their lineup. They've got seven guys that have fanned at least 26.7% of the time over the last two weeks. Every one of them could be in the lineup tonight. We saw Jakob smoke the A's when he got to throw against them. I bet he gets four of these Phillies to sit down tonight.
