We've got what I like to call "the opportunity of a lifetime" today. The ultra-rare "get it all back" play. You don't see those a lot in today's landscape. Plays of the Century, Locks of the Year sure. But not many Get It All Back Moves. I understand. It's scary. For the weak at least. But for beasts like us a Get It All Back Play is what we live for.

Damn it we deserve it too. We work all week long like dogs. We're talking every day here. We need nice things and this play is the nicest thing I've seen in all of my days on this planet. I'm not even kidding. I looked back at my records and I couldn't find one play that was better than this one. Not even one. It wasn't even close either. I almost didn't even do any mental simulations because they really aren't needed. But that would be reckless so I did 2000 just to be sure. After all 2000, this play was undefeated. We're living the dream today people.

MacKenzie Gore. This kid has been on my radar for a while now. I've just been lying in the brush waiting for the right time to attack the books with this kid. He's been patient too. Just waiting for an opportunity to get into the Slop Circle of Trust. Like a boss. Well, today is that day. Good things come to those who wait and if this isn't proof, I don't know what is.

The last time we saw this kid he was mowing down Pirates like he was Blackbeard. He got nine that day and could have gotten even more had he been allowed to pitch the eighth inning. The thing is, that start is beginning to be the norm for this kid. Over his last six starts, he's fanned 40 batters. Even better, he's struck out at least six guys in five of those six starts. This kid is filthy.

Today he gets the Milwaukee Brewers who simply can't hit lefties. They have a .656 OPS against southpaws this season. The worst team in the league is sitting at .604. What's even better is only three teams in MLB have struck out more times against left-handers. We could legitimately see seven guys in the lineup today that strike out at least 25% of the time against left-handed pitchers. This could end up being the greatest play of all time.
