Tampa Bay Rays vs Chicago White Sox Prediction

Why are we getting this number? It definitely should be 4.5 at least. Rasmussen is 9/10 on this prop on the season and you just never see props with that type of hit rate anymore. Rasmussen is playing a team he has already played in Chicago which he hit this against. If he can hit this in Chicago, I also like his chances at hitting this at home. Rasmussen is one of those guys who don’t get stretched too late into games. He has never thrown 90+ pitches in a game and is likely a 75-85 pitches guy. If you’re only throwing that many pitches it helps your chances of not allowing 6+ hits.

The White Sox have been disappointing this year and I think it’s finally time to pick on them a little. They are still elite at facing left-handed pitching but are lackluster against righties batting just .232. Drew Rasmussen as we all know is a right-handed guy which should bode well for us. I think there’s a very real chance he allows five hits exactly but it wouldn’t come as a surprise if he goes out there and only allows a couple. This number just feels too high and a hit rate of 9/10 just feels too good to pass up.

Both Mclanahan and Kluber both went six complete innings in the Rays' last two starts so I would imagine they have a decently rested bullpen to relieve Rasmussen here. We’ve seen Rasmussen get shelled and still hit this prop like the last start against Texas. He allowed five earned runs but also only five hits. We can with this prop in a multitude of ways. Rasmussen has been walking more batters as of late which we love too. Keep increasing that pitch count without allowing base bits. He can walk 10 batters today for all I care, just don’t allow 6+ hits.
