Cleveland Guardians vs Oakland Athletics Prediction: Can Konnor Pilkington Rack Up The Strikeouts?
The key to life is gambling. Everyone knows that. If everyone just found a Play of the Century every day, then the world would be a better place. For instance, take my day so far. I had computer troubles (fixed them like a boss), little kid soccer league drama (handled it) and my coffee machine might be messed up (still drank it). That's a lot for a person to go through in one morning but once I got a look at the lines for tonight, none of that mattered. I found a Play of the Century and now I feel unstoppable. Like I can do anything and nothing else really matters. The lesson here is clearly that gambling fixes everything. People forget that sometimes.
Let's dive into my player prop pick, prediction, and the odds for the Cleveland Guardians vs Oakland Athletics game.

Cleveland Guardians vs Oakland Athletics Player Prop Pick
Konnor Pilkington Over 5.5 Strikeouts (-105) (Bet $105 to win $100)
*Odds available at DraftKings at time of publishing*
We're at DraftKings for this one for FanDuel is okay too. Over there we're looking at 5.5 -108 so it's not like there's a huge difference in the two. It's just if we play this at DraftKings over FanDuel, we can be those people that pretend that there's a big difference between -105 and -108. It has to be fun to say stuff like, "I can't bet that price knowing there's a better one out there."

Cleveland Guardians vs Oakland Athletics Prediction
I'll just say it. I like the kid's name. He actually sounds like a guy who knows soccer. Like "oh, that's just my kid's soccer coach, Konnor Pilkington. He's the best coach in the try-county area." But make no mistake, this guy is no sillinannie. He's got a 92 mph fastball that looks like a bb approaching the plate. We're talking 23 strikeouts in just 17 innings of work so far this season.
Now this kid has only started three games in his career so he's a little raw at the moment. But you have to realize, that he's reached at least six strikeouts in two of the three starts. That's not bad especially when you consider the two starts were against the Toronto Blue Jays and Kansas City Royals. The only time he didn't get home was against the Detroit Tigers and that was only because he walked everybody. He still got four guys to sit down that day so let's not be dumb about this.
Tonight our boy, Konnor, gets the Oakland Athletics which is great news. If you've ever seen a blind person using a white cane to walk then you've pretty much seen the Athletics try to hit. As a team, they are one of six teams in MLB to make the 500 Club (500 strikeouts as a team) so far this season. What makes them special is they've had fewer at-bats than every other team in the club. These guys barely need at-bats to strike out. I don't want to get ahead of myself, but Konnor Pilkington could end up in the Circle of Trust after this one.
