Seattle Mariners vs. Boston Red Sox Prediction: Will the Red Sox Stay Hot on Their West Coast Road Trip?

Mariners vs. Red Sox Total Movement

Seattle Mariners vs. Boston Red Sox Prediction

This one is pretty simple as it is a matchup play and just makes sense in the world of baseball. The Boston Red Sox were on my do not touch list to start the season as they came out of the gate with a blindfold on it, but they have figured it out.

They look like the team they are supposed to be with plenty of potential still to be reached, they are not firing on all cylinders yet and I like that they appear to be getting closer to that each game. They dropped their winning streak last night in a disappointing loss to the Angles but hey those guys had to win at some point.

Tonight Boston heads to Seattle and I am loving the total. It has hit in six straight meetings between the two clubs and there is a sense of a perfect storm brewing here for me. Boston should be hungry coming off a loss here but they also just love to beat up on Seattle… Not only did the over hit in the last five straight, but Boston also took home the W in all five meetings as well. They swept them in Boston back in May over a Four game series.

Seattle knows that and I bet they want some revenge, especially on home field. They are a tad bit over .500 in Seattle and have been swinging the sticks winning three of their last four including two over Houston.

The pitching matchup is also great. Rich Hill is sporting a losing record and a 4.40 ERA on the season. On 44 PA against these Seattle hitters, they are hitting .350 with a .487 wOBA. I am not sure who is pitching for Seattle but I don’t care; I think Marco Gonzales but even if not the Sox will swing the sticks.

If you haven’t guessed I’m In love with the total here, that’s my main play but I’m also just wagering on the better team here to win and bounce back.
