Not trying to sound hyperbolic here but it's highly likely that you're about to read about the greatest bet of all time. It's right on time too since we deserve it. We actually need it. The thing about this one is it's on at the perfect time. Of course, it's a winner and that makes it good, but what makes it great is the fact that it's a 100% banger that is being played in the 2:00 pm ET - 3:30 pm ET window. We're talking day drinking, pools, boats, beaches, whatever the hell you're doing plus a banger. That's an all-time day. The haters are going to say we need a little NBA Finals too if we want to talk about perfection, and they may be right but I never listen to haters so it's tough for me to comment on that. All I do know is this bet you're about to read about is very likely to be the greatest bet of all time. At least top three.

Minnesota Twins vs. Tampa Bay Rays Prediction
Cole Sands 5+ Strikeouts (+138) (Bet $100 to win $138)
*Odds Available at FanDuel*
This one is at FanDuel and I do apologize about it pretty much being exclusive. It's not my fault though. It's not like I can just snap my fingers and give DraftKings and BetMGM the courage to post a line on this guy. What am I, the Wizard of Oz? Maybe they end up posting one, maybe they don't but it won't matter for FanDuel people. We'll already be down on this thing. Just living the dream over here.
I'm still on the fence about whether this kid is a strikeout guy or not. I will say there's a good chance he ends up in the Circle of Trust at some point. The books don't know about him yet. It's not their fault since he's only pitched 11.2 innings so far this season but still, they need to be better. We're talking about a guy who fanned 13 guys in those 11.2 innings. Have some respect FanDuel.
We've only seen Sands four times this season and only two of those times were starts. In those starts, he has yet to sit down more than four guys but that's not his fault. One time was against the Yankees and the other start was the very first of his career. You would have puked on your shoes too. The guy still found a way to whiff four Detroit Tigers that game. I didn't see that one but you just know there was a blown call in there that could have given him five strikeouts. Damn umps. Anyway, I think this kid just needs the right opponent.
Today Sands is getting the Tampa Bay Rays and they just might be the perfect opponent. We're talking about a team that has struck out fourth-most in MLB against right-handers this season. They've played at least three fewer games than all the teams ahead of them. I usually like to wait for lineups but I'm not even sure if they have enough people active to not throw at least six guys that fan 25+% of the time against righties. I've done over 2000 mental simulations on this thing and Sands hasn't struck out less than five in any of them. I think we can even ladder this thing to 6+ (+300). Feels right.
