I love the Texas Rangers and the Baltimore Orioles have shown some much-improved play this season as a whole but the end result when you look at these games is simple; these are inferior pitchers and teams compared to their counterparts here this evening.

Toronto Blue Jays vs Baltimore Orioles Prediction
Toronto is in excellent form and playing the caliber of baseball we expected to see from them this season. They are 35-24 on the season and rank in the top half of the league in nearly all offensive categories. They are much better offensively and producing very well on the road this season.
The pitching matchup is very one-sided; Alek Manoah is having an incredible season to this point sporting a 7-1 record with a 1.81 ERA, sub-one WHIP, and an excellent 7.88 K/9. Kyle Bradish is 1-3 with a 6.45 ERA. Don't overthink it, back the Blue Jays.

Texas Rangers vs Houston Astros Prediction
I think Taylor Hearn for Texas is more likely to cause us trouble tonight than Baltimore's Kyle Braddish but both match up poorly with the other side. Taylor Hearn is a southpaw who the Houston Astros love to hit hard; he is 0-2 with an ERA north of seven against Houston on the season. Globe Life Park is one of my favorites and I think they use it well here tonight against an arm they love to maul.
Cristian Javier has done very well in his career against Texas and this season as a whole, I expect him to continue having a strong campaign. Houston is 4-1 in their last five over Texas and outscoring them by a solid margin.
