Kansas City Royals vs. San Francisco Giants Prediction: Backing Kris Bubic For Strikeouts
There's no NBA tonight. There's no NHL either. Most people on this planet are probably watching Netflix tonight but not us. If you're reading this, pat yourself on the back. You've made it. You are in the very small percentage of people that have a chance at being a winner tonight. It feels good doesn't it? Here's the thing though. We're betting strictly MLB until at least August here. We can decide then if we want to be the kind of people that bet preseason football (real winners) but until then, it's pretty much MLB. I have no problem with that. Sitting back watching guys strike other guys out is fine by me. I can do it like the great Lionel Richie baby. All night long. Lucky for us, we have a move tonight on a game that will seem to last all night long for the east coasters when the Kansas City Royals head out west to take on the San Francisco Giants. We can't let them play for nothing. We need to bet this one.

Kris Bubic Over 3.5 Strikeouts (-124) (Bet $124 to win $100)
This is the best number I found and it's at FanDuel. Here's the deal, if you can't play there, go to DraftKings because they have 3.5 (-125). That's the same thing. The highest I've seen is Barstool and they have 3.5 (-130) so there's not a ton of discrepancy here. We can move on this one pretty much anywhere. A little bonus with booking with FanDuel, you can take 5+ for +190 if you need to get gassed up. We all do from time to time.
Kris Bubic is the ultimate gamble. Always has been ever since his Little League days back in California. The haters are going to say that this kid stinks but what they don't realize is, he's still a kid. He's 24. We don't even know if he's good or bad yet. Sure he's only got 18 strikeouts in 22.2 innings pitched this season. I get that. But he's 6'3" and 225 pounds. The kid just needs a little control and he can become a great earner as a 3.5 guy.
Bet $10, Win $200 on any MLB Moneyline
So far this season, Bubic has only fanned at least four guys in two of his seven starts. That's deceiving though since he didn't even make it out of the first inning in two of those starts. How was he supposed to strike out four guys if he didn't even make it an inning. Not his fault. The thing is, we all saw him start 20 games last season and fan at least four guys in 15 of those starts. Dude went for nine one night. He's got it in him as long as he's facing the right batters.
Bubic is in luck tonight because the San Francisco Giants have a lot of the "right batters". As a team, only four teams in MLB have struck out more than they have over the last two weeks. Only five teams have struck out more than they have in the last month. Each of the last nine guys to start against them have gone for at least four strikeouts. We're talking about a team that is addicted to fanning. Call me crazy, but this might be a time to think about 5+(+190) or even 6+ (+420).
