Blue Jays vs. Yankees Line Movement

Toronto Blue Jays vs. New York Yankees Prediction

The New York Yankees and the Toronto Blue Jays will battle it out on Friday night in what should be one of the best series of the season. These two teams sit at the top of the AL East, and both look like they will be playoff teams.

The Yankees are the best team in baseball, sporting a record of 47-16 entering play. They are thirty games over .500, which is simply astonishing. They have been led by a historic start to the season by Aaron Judge. Giancarlo Stanton has been swinging it well all season long, along with a great year by Anthony Rizzo. The most welcoming sight has been the outstanding starting pitching by this Yankees team. One of those guys who has been surprisingly great is southpaw Jordan Montgomery. Montgomery will get the baseball tonight for the Bronx Bombers, and he will be tasked with shutting down one of the best lineups in baseball.

If you like offense, you will like this series. On paper, these are two of the best offenses in all of baseball, and numbers would suggest the same. The young stars Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette, have led this team. The surprising star for the Jays this year has been catcher Alejandro Kirk who has the best batting average on this outstanding team.

I am backing the Blue Jays on the moneyline tonight. This is the first time I am fading the Yankees this season, but tonight is the night to do so. The line here is suggesting it is a Blue Jays play to me, and I am going to trust my gut here. Ross Stripling has been really good for the Jays, and I believe he will turn in a solid outing tonight. I expect the Jays to get to Montgomery in this one and get a lead early. Let’s trust the line and stay hot tonight!
