Handicapper and MLB player prop specialist John Hyslop is back again this Tuesday with another top strikeout prop bet. This time his pick comes from the Los Angeles Angels vs Kansas City Royals game eyeing Jonathan Heasley.
ANALYSIS

Los Angeles Angels vs Kansas City Royals Best Bet: Can Jonathan Heasley Shutdown Mike Trout and the Angels?

We're going to need something for the later games tonight and I found the perfect move. At first, I thought this guy would end up being a candidate for the Brad Keller Award but I'm not sure that's going to happen. Guys need an ERA of 5+ to qualify and our guy for tonight is in the 3s. It would take a lot to get him over the five mark but we can still hold out hope. Anything is possible.

Still, even though our guy isn't in line for an award, he can still end up in the Slop Circle of Trust which is pretty much an award in itself. It will take a couple more good outings but I'm very confident when all is said and done, this dude will be in the circle. He's got great vibes and a fastball to match. All of that will be in full effect tonight when he stuffs a bunch of cash in our pockets.

Let's dive into my player prop, prediction, and odds for Tuesday's game between the Los Angeles Angels and Kansas City Royals.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Kansas City Royals Player Prop Best Bet

Jonathan Heasley Over 4.5 Strikeouts (+100) (Bet $100 to win $100)

*Odds available at FanDuel at time of publishing*

We're at FanDuel for this one since they've got even money. DraftKings isn't far behind with 4.5 -105 so we can play this there too. I know I always say this but FanDuel gives us ladder options so while we're there smashing the 4.5 number, we can also hit the 6+ (+220) while we're at it. It just depends on how much fun you want to have tonight. It's Tuesday so I may lay back but you never know when you need to turn it up a little.

Los Angeles Angels vs. Kansas City Royals Prediction

Jonathan Heasley could find himself in the Circle of Trust on vibes alone. He's just a big good vibes guy. Those are hard to come by and if we're being honest, I don't think we have one currently in the circle. The closest would be Max Fried but I don't think his vibes are as good as Heasley's. We'll have to let history decide that one but I think I'm right here. No disrespect to Max but Heasley just has good vibes.

Vibes can only lead to so many strikeouts though as everyone already knows. At some point, these guys will need a hose and Heasley is slowly beginning to show his. Over his last three starts, Heasley has fanned at least five in two of them. The time he didn't he got four San Francisco Giants to sit down so it wasn't like he was bad that night. It should be noted that he walked a couple of guys that night so we have had an incompetent umpire situation going. If that's the case, that start doesn't even count.

Tonight our good vibe guy gets the Los Angeles Angels which feels like a good thing. Over the last 15 days, those Angels have fanned more than any other team in MLB. It's not even close either. We're talking 22 more than the next closest team here people. There are legit eight guys that could be in the lineup tonight that have fanned at least 31% of the time over the last two weeks. That's insane. I'd be shocked if Heasley can't get at least five of these guys to sit down.
