Wednesday's MLB Best Bets: Chad Kuhl, Keegan Thompson, and the Strikeout Watch List

The first thing we should all be doing when we wake up is looking for ladders on FanDuel. It's just the smart thing to do. You know it, I know it, the gambling gods know it. There's just something about smashing a +200 bet that makes everything in the world all right. The thing is, I think we as gamblers are getting the better end of the deal on these things. Just last night FanDuel gave us the great Jon Heasley 6+ (+200). It closed even higher than that. This was against the Los Angeles Angels who strike out more than anyone in MLB. The point is, why would a guy like Heasley, who is in the Circle of Trust, be +200 for only 6+ strikeouts. That feels kind of dumb. Now, these ladder opportunities happen all the time. Pretty much every single day. All we have to do is find the right pitcher against the right lineup, then BAM. Magic happens.

Remember, we need to see AT LEAST five of these batters in these lineups when they are released. If that happens, we can ladder these guys to the moon. Maybe further. If you don't see at least five guys in any of these lineups, abort mission. Leave the ladder there and move on to the next. Climbing a broken ladder just isn't smart.
