MLB Moneyline Parlay Picks (+357) (Bet $100 to win $357)

  • Braves (-155)
  • White Sox (-155)
  • Padres (-145)

The Braves will face Alex Wood, a left-handed pitcher who has a 3.74 xFIP in the last 30 days. That xFIP is solid and overall Wood has been solid, but the Braves smash lefties. The Braves have a .294 ISO and wOBA of .406 against lefties in the last 30 days with six batters hitting an ISO at an above-average rate against lefties. Meanwhile, Kyle Wright gets the start for the Braves. He's earning close to 60% of ground balls in the last 30 days while also earning close to 25% of strikeouts. I'll take my chances with the home team.

The White Sox will take on Dean Kramer of the Orioles. Kramer might have a low ERA but he has a 4.88 xFIP and will take on a White Sox team that has five players hitting a wOBA of .338 or greater against righties. Meanwhile, Johnny Cueto has also been very lucky for the White Sox with a low ERA and a much higher xFIP in the last 30 days. But only Trey Mancini presents a threat against Cueto. The White Sox have more to offer with their lineup at home.

The Padres will take on Ranger Suarez of the Phillies. Suarez has a 4.85 xFIP with low strikeouts and high walks in the last 30 days. San Diego's lineup has a .361 wOBA against lefties and that's without Manny Machado in the lineup. With Joe Musgrove on the mound, at home, I'm feeling confident about this one.

MLB Total Runs Parlay Picks +582 (Bet $100 to win $582)

  • Cubs vs. Pirates Over 8.5 (-105)
  • Guardians vs. Twins Under 10 (-115)
  • Cardinals vs. Brewers Under 9.5 (-115)

The Pirates will pitch Jose Quintana. He's a lefty with a 4.37 xFIP in the last 30 days. Meanwhile, the Cubs will put together a lineup of nine righties with Wilson Contreras, Ian Happ, and Jonathan Villar hitting lefties at a very high rate right now. On the other hand, the Pirates will take on Justin Steele, who has a 5.08 xFIP along with 13.2% of strikeouts and 10.5% of walks in the last 30 days. The Pirates have potential too. Take the over.

The Twins match up very well against Zach Plesac, with an ISO of .241 and a wOBA of .378 in the last 30 days against righties. But it takes two to tango. The Guardians have a .119 ISO and wOBA of .311 with just 5.3% of walks. This number is a bit too high at 10.

Any time a Brewers game has a total where you need double digits to win, it's usually in good practice to take the under. The Brewers have a .292 wOBA against righties in the last 30 days and will take on Dakota Hudson, who has earned 57.1% of ground balls in the last 30 days. On the other hand, the Cardinals will take on Jason Alexander and should see some runs get across the board, but not enough for the over.
