Diamondbacks vs. Tigers Line Movement

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Detroit Tigers Prediction

The Diamondbacks will pitch Zach Davies, who has a 2-4 record with a 3.96 ERA. Davies typically isn't all that consistent, but so far, he's been able to keep his ERA below 4, which really isn't all that bad.

In the last 30 days, Davies has a 4.71 xFIP but has struck out 22.4% of batters while also walking just 6.4% of batters. On top of that, Davies has been able to limit line drives to 15.9%.

The Diamondbacks are starting to get some good out of Davies.

Meanwhile, the Tigers have one of the worst offenses you'll ever see against right-handed pitching. The projected lineup for Detroit has a .061 ISO and wOBA of .260 against righties with 23.7% of strikeouts and 7.9% of walks.

Only Riley Greene has a high wOBA against righties and that's because the rookie's sample size is much shorter than everyone else because he was just called up.

On the other hand, it'll be Alex Faedo on the mound for the Tigers. He's 1-4 with a 4.67 ERA on the season. In the last 30 days, Faedo has had a 5.74 xFIP with 19.3% of strikeouts. He's also allowed 25.3% of line drives in the last 30 days while inducing just 26.6% of ground balls in that same time frame.

The Diamondbacks don't have the best offense either, with a .139 ISO and wOBA of .273 but against Faedo, I'm expecting power from lefties like Alek Thomas, Ketel Marte, and David Peralta.

Faedo has allowed a .220 ISO to lefties in his last 54 plate appearances. Therefore, I like how Arizona matches up much more.

Give me the Diamondbacks at home on the moneyline.
