I love this Texas Rangers lineup and what they are building I have said that many times this season; the core is gluing together and starting to really be productive as a unit and the arms are starting to really do their part as well. One of those arms is the stud southpaw Martin Perez who is having an electric season for himself and his squad so far.
Perez is 5-2 with a 1.96 ERA (4th best in the league among qualifying starter pitchers) and a strong 1.13 WHIP. Texas is just three games behind that .500 mark and have been making a push for it however they dropped 2/3 over the weekend to the Nationals. Look for them to do their best to get back on track tonight behind one of their best arms in a strong matchup.
