Los Angeles Angels vs. Chicago White Sox Prediction

The Angels started the year well but went through one of the worst losing streaks in franchise history. Fourteen games in a row were lost by the Angels, resulting in their manager Joe Maddon being fired. They also lost one of their star players in, Anthony Rendon during that period.

The White Sox have had to deal with a lot of injured during the season, but their record should still be much better than it currently is based on their talent. The Sox were expected to be a team who was going to compete to win a World Series entering the season. They still can get back into things if they turn it around as it is a long season, and they are well within striking distance. They are coming off a series at home in which they lost three of four games to the Baltimore Orioles. We should be treated to a good pitching matchup tonight as Lucas Giolito will be opposed by Noah Syndergaard. 

I am going with a prop I like in this game tonight. Andrew Velazquez under 0.5 hits -110. He is not known to be a hitter as he is one of the better fielding shortstops in the game. He hits towards the end of the Angels lineup, so his chances here should be limited to three, maybe four at-bats. I think Giolito will have a good night on the mound for the Sox and shut down these Angels bats. Velazquez is hitting just .171 on the campaign and is just 2-16 in his last six games. I love the line we are getting here. Let’s cash this in!
