Toronto Blue Jays vs. Boston Red Sox Best Bets: Expect Offense Against Kevin Gausman and Connor Seabold
Well guys this first game we are going to dive into is the one of the two totals I am getting after tonight. I had a great time handicapping this game and was joking with a buddy about the name of the arm that Boston is sending to the bump tonight: Connor Seabold.
Seabold, like really? I am not making fun of it but I swear that’s the name of a horse who has raced in the Kentucky Derby before or something…
Anyways let’s talk about the game.

Toronto Blue Jays vs Boston Red Sox Prediction
I think we see runs In this one plain and simple; there is a plethora of offensive firepower on both ends here and despite the potential for these pitchers to have spectacular performances, I don’t see it. Seabold is a rookie and this Blue Jays lineup is more than capable of mauling even the league’s best arms.
Kevin Gausman, on the other hand, has proven he can dominate but he has regressed lately and the Boston Red Sox lineup has seen him plenty throughout his career. He can still have a good outing and give up a couple of runs tonight and that is what I expect to see; he should have his fair share of K’s but I don’t think he miraculously returns to Cy Young form against a team that is really swinging the sticks.
Boston worried me earlier in the season but they have since then played excellent baseball and are winning games right now plain and simple. I think they have a much tougher opponent here tonight than they did the last two series so you can expect them to be locked in and ready to keep the train rolling.
Boston has scored 126 runs for an average of 5.47 RPG this month and should contribute on their end; Toronto should do the rest as they have scored 149 runs this month for an average of 6.21 RPG and have cashed the total in nine of their last ten both straight up and at home.
