Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Diego Padres Prediction: Will Zac Gallen or Sean Manaea Win Tuesday's Duel?
The San Diego Padres are currently 45-30 on the season and they're doing this without Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manny Machado, who are both out with injuries at this time.
Tonight, they'll start a road series against a bad Arizona Diamondbacks team, that is currently 33-41 on the year. However, Arizona will be sending out their best pitcher. That will surely make things interesting tonight.
Here are our picks, predictions, and odds for Tuesday's game between the Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Diego Padres.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs. San Diego Padres Prediction
It'll be on the mound for the Padres tonight. The left-hander has a 4.70 xFIP in the last 30 days despite having a 3.87 ERA on the season.
In those last 30 days, Manaea has walked 9.5% of batters and has induced just 39.1% of ground balls. Righties have had a .230 ISO against him but other than that, Manaea has been sharp.
In the Diamondbacks lineup, there isn't much to love. Only Jordan Luplow, Christian Walker, and Buddy Kennedy have hit lefties consistently in the last 30 days.
Kennedy has had just 10 plate appearances against lefties in that time frame but Walker and Luplow have had over 20 and have ISO's at .500 or above.
Luplow and Walker are going to be massive power threats against Manaea, but the rest of the lineup really doesn't pose much of a threat.

On the other hand, Zac Gallen will get the call for the Diamondbacks. He's 4-2 with a 2.92 ERA on the season and has easily been the best pitcher in Arizona this season.
In the last 30 days, he has a 4.50 xFIP but has also struck out over 24% of batters in the last 30 days. However, lefties and righties have elevated ISO and wOBA numbers against Gallen.
But that won't matter too much. The Padres have a .138 ISO and wOBA of .314 against righties in the last 30 days with their projected lineup. Only Jurickson Profar, Jake Cronenworth, and Luke Voit have elevated numbers between ISO and wOBA against righties in the last 30 days.
While there are three bats in each lineup that can do damage, there are six bats in each lineup that have been quiet and inconsistent against their opposition. Therefore, I'll take the under in this game between the Padres and Diamondbacks.
