MLB Parlay Picks for Wednesday: Cash In With This Expert's +583 Parlay
Due to popular demand, we're adding an article at Oddschecker that consists of two parlays. I'm going to add two different parlays, one being a moneyline parlay and the other being a totals parlay in the MLB daily. You can always mix and match these parlays where you see the value! Head to the Oddschecker MLB Odds grid to see complete odds for every game today on the board.
MLB Moneyline Parlay Picks (+431)Â (Bet $100 to win $431)
- Astros (-145)
- Braves (-140)
- Marlins (-120)
The Astros will send out Justin Verlander for tonight's game to go up against Taijuan Walker. Walker has looked good analytically in the last 30 days with a low xFIP and high strikeout rate. But he's also allowing over 43% of hard contact in the last 30 days. The Astros are not the team you want to allow hard contact to. Take the Astros to sweep the Mets in today's afternoon game.
The Braves, on the other hand, have destroyed left-handed pitching in the last 30 days with an ISO of over .230 and a wOBA of over .370. Tonight, the Braves take on Ranger Suarez, who has an xFIP nearing 5. The Braves will have plenty of opportunities to score runs and with Kyle Wright on the hill, a couple of runs would be enough.
The Marlins will pitch Sandy Alcantara against the Cardinals tonight. He has a 3.30 xFIP while earning over 60% of ground balls. He's been one of the best pitchers in the majors this season and will take on a Cardinals lineup that has struck out 22.3% of the time in the last 30 days against righties. Meanwhile, St. Louis will pitch Andre Pallante, who has a 4.38 xFIP with low strikeouts and high walks in the last 30 days. I'll take the ace pitcher with the -120 tag.
MLB Total Runs Parlay Picks +583Â (Bet $100 to win $583)
- Orioles vs. Mariners Over 8 (-110)
- Dodgers vs. Rockies Over 11 (-120)
- White Sox vs. Angels Under 4 First Half (-105)
The Orioles will face Chris Flexen, who has had a 6.20 xFIP in the last 30 days. He induces just 27.3% of ground balls while allowing 22.7% of line drives. Baltimore rarely hits ground balls in the first place against righties and should be able to hit for power. On the other hand, Austin Voth will get the call for the Orioles. He's allowed 31.3% of line-drive contact in the last 30 days and will take on a Mariners lineup that has hit 24.5% of line drives in the last 30 days against righties. Let's grab the over here.
The Dodgers will look to salvage a series against the Rockies. Look for their offense to come alive. They'll face German Marquez, who has a 4.66 xFIP in the last 30 days. He's been getting rocked by righties. Trea Turner and Will Smith are two guys to look out for. Meanwhile, the Rockies have hit lefties extremely well this year and have a .189 ISO with a wOBA of .338 in the last 30 days with their projected lineup against lefties. Tonight, they'll take on Julio Urias. Back the over.
Michael Kopech will take the mound for the White Sox to go up against Shohei Ohtani and the Angels. Both of these pitchers have ERAs below 3 and both of these pitchers are taking on offenses that have been very inconsistent, especially in the power department. I'm not trying to mess around with the bullpens, but do believe both of these pitchers have solid outings. Take the F5 under in this one.
