Cleveland Guardians vs Minnesota Twins Prediction

They played a wild game last night in which the Guardians won 7-6 in extra innings. The Twins scored three runs in the top of the tenth, which looked like it would be more than enough to win them the game, but the Guardians answered with three two-out runs capped off by a walk-off home run by Josh Naylor. The teams will reset today and play an early afternoon game.

The Guardians will send their best arm to the bump and former Cy young seated winner in the form of Shane Bieber. Bieber has been great again this season and is a huge part of the Guardian's success. He will be opposed by Chris Archer, who at one point in his career was thought to be one of the best young arms in the game. He has had to deal with a lot of injuries, but this is his best season in a few years. He will look to continue his success against this tough Cleveland lineup.

These two teams look like they are legit and will make a run at winning the AL Central. They know the White Sox will get hit eventually, and this should be a fun race to watch as the summer goes along. Cleveland enters this one as a -150 favorite behind Bieber.

I am backing the Guardians today on the money line, and I am not overthinking this one. Bieber has been one of the best arms in baseball this season, and I expect him to be razor-sharp against this Twins lineup yet again today. Archer is a guy who I think will regress in the second half of the season.

This is a good Guardians lineup that is extremely patient and will grind out at-bats. They do not strike out often and can get the pitch count up early on Archer. I think they will only need three or four runs to win this game today with Bieber on the bump. I love this play to kick off the day. Let’s stay hot!
