The Orioles and Rangers were both slated pre-season to be nonplayoff teams. They have both been around average this season, and this should be a fun series. Texas was extremely active in the off-season, landing a pair of all-star infielders in Marcus Semien and Corey Seager. They have some young talent in Adolis Garcia and Jonah Heim as well.

The issue for Texas has been pitching this season, but they are still in the playoff hunt. Texas sits five games out of the final wildcard spot in the American League. Baltimore sits seven and a half games out of a playoff spot, but from a betting standpoint, they have been one of the most profitable teams in the MLB. That is largely to do with the fact that they have been underdogs in the majority of their games.

The man getting the ball for them today has been outstanding this season. Dean Kremer comes into this game representing an era of just 1.29 in twenty-eight innings pitched. I am backing the home team today, the Baltimore Orioles. The Orioles have been good to us this season, and this is another really good spot for them today at home, coming off a tough series against the Twins. I think Kremer is the real deal, and he is getting disrespected today by the line makers. The Orioles should be a decent-sized favorite in my eyes. Dane Dunning is going to give up runs, and I think three or four runs could be enough in this game for the O's to get the job done. Let’s stay hot in the MLB!
