Chicago White Sox vs. Minnesota Twins Prediction

On Tuesday night, the Minnesota Twins and the Chicago White Sox will battle it out from the south side for game two of this American League Central affair. The Twins have had the Sox number as of late, winning six games in a row, and they will look to continue their winning ways tonight.

The Twins enter this game as the leaders of the Al Central holding three and a half games on the Guardians. The White Sox sit in third place, to the surprise of many being five and a half games out of first place. The White Sox may have started the turnaround to their season, coming off a sweep against the San Francisco Giants.

The White Sox were one of the favorites entering the season to win the World Series. They are now just looking to find a way to get hot and make the playoffs. Lucky for the Sox, you have a lot of time in a baseball season to flip the script. This is a team that I believe will be able to do it.

The Twins, on the other side of things, have been one of the most surprising teams in a positive way. This team was not slated to be a playoff team, but they sure look like one this season. They have one of the best 1,2,3 punches in baseball with Luis Arraez, Carlos Correa, and Byron Buxton. Their pitching has been much better than expected this season, and if they can keep that up, they will be a tough team to beat. Chris Archer gets the ball for the Twins tonight, and Michael Kopech will oppose him.

I am backing the White Sox on the moneyline tonight as this should be a good bounce-back spot for the Sox after a tough loss last night. Last night was a wild game that included one of the more bizarre triple plays you will see. The Sox can not afford to lose these types of games when they are battling uphill.

I believe they have the advantage on the mound tonight, with Michael Kopech getting the ball. The Texas native has been outstanding this season, and he is a guy that should win a Cy Young at some point in his career. He has some of the best stuff in the game, and the Sox need him to step up tonight against this Minnesota lineup. Chris Archer has been good as of late, but he has had some issues with control. This is an experienced Sox lineup that should be able to grind out at-bats against Archer. I love the Sox today to even the series!
