Houston Astros vs Kansas City Royals Best Bets: Will Jose Altuve and the Astros Continue To Roll?
I am writing my articles in a parking lot on the side of the interstate today as am heading home from the holiday trip. As you may assume, it’s less ideal than the office, but I actually do not mind at all today as I like quite a few spots on this board, and the write-ups can be rather short and sweet. I'm not going to overanalyze here today, just covering the basics of what you need to know about these ones.

Houston Astros vs. Kansas City Royals Prediction
To start, I have a few angels I like here in this one, and we are heading right back to a series we have enjoyed so far.
As I said last night, the Royals traded Carlos Santana last week and are now 29-50, still sitting dead last in the division and without Salvador Perez. Royals arm Brad Keller takes the bump, sporting a 3-9 record with a 4.24 ERA. His expected slash line against is .316/.400/.521, which is against one of the best lineups in the league that he has barely seen before.
The Astros stormed back to win 7-6 Monday, won another shootout at 9-7 last night, and have an opportunity to finish this series with a sweep and remain blazing hot. I love the total in this one, as well. I think the pitching matchup for Keller with this Astros lineup, who are more than capable of pouring it on and tend to often. Javier should throw the ball very well as he has in the past, but if the Royals sneak a few runs past him, we should have no trouble with this total.
Let’s run it back.
