Houston Astros vs. Kansas City Royals Prediction

1u - Cristian Javier To Record A Win (+100) (Bet $100 to win $100)

This guy prints us money. How could we not go back? Javier has been nothing short of amazing for us. The man is pitching at home tonight, where we love to bet him, and he holds a 1.83 ERA at Minute Maid Park. In 6 home starts, he has 4 wins, and tonight he gets a favorable matchup against Kansas City. The Royals are 29-50 and have lost 8 of their last 10 games. The Astros have won 8 straight, and the loss before the win streak was against the league-leading Yankees, so they’re playing great baseball.

Javier has pitched 5+ innings in 8/11 starts but should find no problem tonight in making that 9/12. Kansas City shouldn’t have the offensive firepower to force Javier into long innings. Javier will need some run support for the win, and I think there’s a good chance of that happening. On the mound for Kansas City is Brad Keller, who holds a 4.24 ERA. Keller has allowed 3 or more runs in 8/10 and the only good starts were against the two lowest-scoring teams in baseball, Detroit, and Oakland. I think Houston's offense will do their job and hang at least 2 or 3 runs on Keller, which should hopefully be enough for Javier to qualify for a win.

The Astros have the best bullpen ERA in all of baseball, so if he qualifies for the win, I don’t see them blowing our bet. My top pivot if you don't have this market would be the Astros double result or 1st 5 Innings/Moneyline bet. I think that is always the top pivot for a pitcher to record a win prop, so know that going forward. The Astros are red hot, and the Royals are ice cold. Javier throws gems at home, we shouldn’t complicate it beyond that. I can live with whatever the result is here. The odds are amazing, and the bet makes perfect sense. Let's do it!
