Oakland Athletics vs. Toronto Blue Jays Prediction

The Toronto Blue Jays and the Oakland Athletics will battle it out for the final game of this three-game set this afternoon. The A's have taken the first two games to the surprise of many, and they will look to sweep Toronto today.

Oakland enters play as the worst team in baseball despite winning their last couple of games. The Jays, on the flip side of things, are currently in second place in the American League Wild Card, and they know these types of losses are the ones that could bite them at the end of the season. Toronto is one of the most entertaining teams in baseball, led by the young swagger of Vladimir Gurrero Jr. and Bo Bichette. This is a team that plays with a ton of energy, and when they are clicking one of the best baseball teams.

Yesterday's game was frustrating for the Jays as they outhit the A's by a wide margin but lost the game by a pair of runs. Walks were the issue for the Jays staff as Oakland had just four hits but scored five times. The Blue Jays will send Jose Berrios to the mound today to try and stop the bleeding. The Blue Jays gave up their top prospect Austin Martin last season to acquire Berrios from the Twins. Berrios has really struggled this season, but the Jays are hopeful he can bounce back and be the ace he once was. The Athletics send James Kaprellian to the mound to try and get the sweep. 

I am backing the Jays to bounce back today. I know they let us down yesterday, but you must have a bad memory in sports gambling. They outplayed the A's yesterday and held their bats to just four hits. It was just the control issues that I do not see being a factor today.

Vladimir Gurrero Jr will be back in the starting lineup today, which lengthens this lineup along with Lourdes Gurriell Jr. I believe In Berrios and that he will turn things around. Berrios has too good of stuff not to bounce back, and this could be the perfect spot against this limited Oakland offense. Let’s bounce back with the Jays today!
