The Sox are fresh off a wild win on Wednesday over the Minnesota Twins as their offense had a great game, plating nine runs. The Tigers are fresh off their best series of the season as they swept the Cleveland Guardians. A big part of that sweep was young outfielder Riley Greene who was injured to start the season.

The Tigers could not be more excited about Greene, and they know when he is in the lineup, this is a tough team to beat. Greene has a hit in every game but one since June 28th. The Tigers have been disappointing overall this season after they made a few moves in the off-season to improve their roster. The most notable move was Javier Baez, who has really struggled this season. The Tigers currently sit ten games out of the wildcard.

The White Sox know a thing or two about a disappointing start to the season. Chicago sits four and a half games out of a playoff position, and this is a team talent-wise that should turn things around and make the postseason. They will look to get this series off to a good start, and they have the right man to do it.

The Sox will send Dylan Cease to the bump, who has undoubtedly been their best arm this season. Cease comes into this one 7-3 with an era of 2.51. He will be opposed by Beau Brieske, who is just 1-6 this season. 

I am going with a prop here, and it is going to be the White Sox to score the first run of the game. I love this spot for the Sox as I believe their offense is set to bounce back. This is a team who has struggled to stay healthy this season, but when they are healthy, this is one of the most talented lineups in baseball.

The Sox added Eloy Jimenez to the lineup yesterday, who made an immediate impact. They should be able to get to Brieske early in this game. I do trust that Cease can get three outs and start the game well for us here. Let’s keep things rolling!
